North Central Baptist Hospital has the only fully equipped and staffed pediatric emergency department in northern San Antonio. This spacious and modern department contains 18 beds and offers the most advanced clinical technology. The Children’s Emergency Center physicians are supported by a team of qualified pediatric emergency nurses, respiratory therapists, nutritionists, pharmacists and other skilled health care professionals. These pediatric emergency specialists interact with all clinical departments, as well as surgical and medical sub-specialists, to provide the clinical care necessary for your critically ill or injured children as efficiently as possible.
